Dear Amber,

I just want to say how deeply sorry I am for your loss. I know there are no words that can take away the pain of losing Austin, but please know my heart is with you. He was truly one of a kind — kind, funny, a little crazy, and always full of life.

One of the things I will always remember is the bond he had with my mom — how she gave him stability, a home, and dignity all the way to the very end. And in return, he gave her joy, companionship, and yes, sometimes a little bit of a headache — but most of all, he gave her a love that only he could give. That was Austin: someone who could make you laugh, drive you a little wild, and still leave you feeling so loved.

I hope in time the beautiful memories will bring you more comfort than sorrow. Austin’s spirit, his humor, and his love will always be part of us.

With all my love,

Chrisy
