Austin "Brandon" Landrum, better known as Brandon, born on the 16th of July 1985, sadly passed away on the 2nd of July, 2023. His upbeat personality and infectious laugh touched the lives of many and he will be deeply missed.
He is fondly remembered by his surviving family members – his father, Garry Landrum; his brothers, Jason and Blaine Landrum; his sister-in-law, Ashlee Seymour; his nephews, Jaden, Jaise, Jaxton, Travis and Hunter Landrum; his niece, Hayley Landrum; and his grandmother, Nell Singletary. Brandon had a fervor for life that was reflected in his many passions. Among his favorite foods were cereal, vanilla ice cream, and cinnamon rolls. A committed sports fan, he particularly admired the Saints. Brandon had a taste for simple pleasures; his favorite drinks were milk and Coca Cola, while he found joy in the beats of rap and hip-hop music. His preferred movies were the Marvel Entertainment Movies, notably X-Men and Wolverines. He enjoyed watching a mix of comedy and scary TV shows.
Brandon was also a devoted gamer and took pleasure in playing Mortal Kombat, Marvel Strike Force, and Killer Instinct. He loved spending his leisure time hanging out with friends and family, watching TV, and working. For exercise, his preferred choice was walking. Among his favorite vacation spots were Orlando and New York. The color orange held a special place in his heart.
One of his most treasured attributes was the ability to make people smile. The phrase "he wanted his loved ones to learn from his mistakes" summarized the wisdom he wished to share. His legacy is a testament to his firm belief in the value of laughter and learning in life.
Brandon's life, though shorter than hoped, was filled with love, laughter, and an everlasting positive influence on those who knew him. We are grateful for the time we had with him and he will forever reside in our hearts. Rest in peace, Brandon.
