Attended a birthday celebration yesterday with family and friends yesterday in your honor. You are certainly missed and not forgotten by any stretch. Memories of you are still fresh in the hearts of everyone and your smile is not forgotten. There was also moments of pain because you were not physically there, but we know you were spiritually there. Only your memory could bring such a gathering of friends and family to honor you. Happy Birthday Austin....till next year.

There are so many memories of Austin since I watched him grow from a child into manhood. One memory that comes to mind was when his younger brother finally won the brother "fight" they had on the front lawn. Austin had ruled until that day. I also remember when we would have neighborhood parties and we would do stupid things like wear wigs during the neighborhood cookout. But the most recent memory is when Austin introduced me to Mary...I had never seen him happier. Then, of course, it was the Octoberfest party that he loved to throw each year. He is greatly missed...I lost a family member. Being reduced to ashes at death does not fit a personality that lived life like Austin.

He deserves justice for what was done to him. Please keep pushing for answers so his family, friends and neighbors can have some closure. There’s a murderer still out here that needs to answer their crime, as terrible as all this is, it’s even worse that they haven’t been caught after almost a month.
