It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother, Aurora Roca Nauro, on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. She left a mark on the lives of all who knew her, with her love, wisdom, and dedication. She was born in Trinidad, Beni, Bolivia on June 18, 1930 and passed on December 23, 2025, in West Jordan, Utah.

Aurora grew up in Beni, got married, and lived part of her life in Brazil. Later, she returned to Bolivia and lived for many years in Montero, Santa Cruz, before traveling to the United States in 2000.

A pioneer of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she lived a life of service to others. She served tirelessly in various Church callings, most notably as a teacher and Relief Society president, where she served with love and kindness, positively impacting the lives of many women and serving as an example for generations. Whenever someone needed advice or comfort, Aurora was always there, ready to help, which made her special to those who knew her. She served the missionaries for 20 years, cooking for them every day, and they loved and enjoyed the delicious food she prepared.

Mother of 9 children (Neyza, Lucinda, Doris, Jorge, Sonia, Hugo, Hortensia, Becky and David).

Grandmother of 30 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

She was an admirable woman who dedicated her life to her family and those around her, standing out for her firm and determined character. Aurora loved to read every day, and did so until her eyesight no longer allowed it. She loved attending the Temple. One of her favorite pastimes was crocheting, which she did in an extraordinary and wonderful way. Aurora had a great talent for cooking, which made her diners love her dishes.

Her funeral services (to be announced at a later date) will be broadcast via Zoom where family and friends can pay tribute and say goodbye.

We thank our mother and grandmother for the love, example, and legacy of values ​​and perseverance. We will always remember her with affection and gratitude for having been an inspiration in our lives. We know that she now rests in peace, free from all pain and sorrow, alongside other loved ones, until we meet the King.

Con profundo pesar informamos el fallecimiento de nuestra madre y abuela, Aurora Roca Nauro, ocurrido el dia Martes 23 de Diciembre del 2025. Ella dejó una huella en la vida de todos los que la conocieron, con su amor, sabiduría y dedicación. Nació en Trinidad, Beni Bolivia el 18 de Junio de 1930 y falleció el 23 de Diciembre de 2025, en West Jordan, Utah.

Creció en el Beni, se casó y parte de su vida vivió en Brasil. Luego retornó a Bolivia y vivió por muchos años en Montero, Santa Cruz, viajó a EEUU en el año 2000.

Pionera de la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Últimos Días, vivió una vida de servicio a los demás. Sirvió incansablemente en diferentes llamamientos en la Iglesia, entre los que más se destacó por la cantidad de años de servicio fué como maestra y presidenta de la Sociedad de Socorro en los que sirvió con amor y bondad llegando a impactar positivamente la vida de muchas mujeres, siendo un ejemplo para varias generaciones. Siempre que alguien necesitaba de un consejo o consuelo ella estaba ahi presta para ayudar lo que la hacia especial para quienes la conocieron. Sirvió por 20 años a los misioneros, cocinando cada dia para ellos, quienes amaban y disfrutaban de las delicias que preparaba.

Madre de 9 hijos (Neyza, Lucinda, Doris, Jorge, Sonia, Hugo, Hortensia, Becky y David).

Abuela de 30 nietos, 45 bisnietos y 10 tataranietos.

Fué una mujer admirable que dedicó su vida a su familia y a quienes la rodeaban, destacandose por su carácter firme y decidido, amaba leer cada dia y lo hizo hasta que su vista se lo permitió. Le encantaba asistir al Templo. Uno de sus pasatiempos favoritos era tejer a crochet lo cuál lo hacia de una manera extraordinaria y maravillosa. Tenía un grandioso talento para cocinar, lo que hacia que sus comensales amen sus platillos.

Sus servicios funerarios (que se anunciarán en una fecha posterior) se trasmitirán via Zoom donde familiares y amigos podrán rendirle homenaje y despedirse.

Agradecemos a nuestra madre y abuela por el amor, ejemplo y legado de valores y perseverancia, la recordaremos siempre con cariño y gratitud por haber sido una inspiración en nuestras vidas, sabemos que ella ahora descansa en paz libre de todo dolor y pesar junto a otros seres queridos, hasta vernos con el Rey.

Querida mami, la amaremos por siempre.
