Audrey moved to GA in March 2019, she had several medical issues in which it repeatedly caused her to get admitted to a hospital and then later to a nursing home/rehab. Audrey has always been independent of her own care up until then. Once Audrey would get released from those health care institutions time showed she could not continue the aftercare on her own, no one knew why until Sherain, (her oldest daughter) had her tested for memory loss. The conclusion was that she was diagnosed with the early stages of Dementia, the Rehab then stated that Audrey could not live alone anymore they would not release Audrey unless she was going to be living with someone or someone was going to move in with her.

It was very difficult for Audrey to leave Detroit, she didn't want to leave her other children and grandchildren. Audrey didn't want to inconvenient her children or grandchildren, she knew that everyone had jobs and some were attending school. It made better sense for Sherain to care for Audrey since Sherain work's from home, allowing Sherain to care for Audrey while still going to work inside of the home.

Audrey made plans to visit her children in May of 2020, unfortunately, she was unable to see this through.
