My first memory with Audrey is distant. I think I first saw her while she was FaceTiming Michael one day and I said “who is that” 🙄 lol

But I instantly loved her and envied her. Our relationship did change overtime. She started out protecting her brother of course, then at some point, cared enough about me to include me into the family and protect me when needed. She always showed gracious towards me after that.

We are sorry for your loss. She was a precious soul full of joy and love. She will be greatly missed by many. Mike & Gaylene Lively of Foley, AL
I am truly so sorry for your loss. Audrey was such a good friend. We played tennis together in school and then I helped her watch Brooklyn when she was a baby. She was such a great person and she will be truly missed.
Audrey was the best sister in law I could of imagined having. We clicked from the get-go which I soon found out was just her personality. She got along with everyone right off the bat. She was very passionate about being a mother and a sister and an aunt. She loved her family with every fiber in her body. She never failed to show up. Ever. Every occasion I needed her, she was there. Regardless if that meant she drove 3 hours just to get there. She lived with me and her brother for about a year & it was such a fun time. She deserved for the world to treat her better. She deserves for love to treat her better. I love you so much Audrey Lynn. 💕

Audrey & I on iPod day in middle school. Always lit up every room & had such a great energy.

Audrey was my first and only sister. She would get this little read knot between her eyes when she would get angry as a baby.  She was the sweetest child who loved her little dog snickers and her brothers so much. Her and I were roomies for a little while before I left for the military in 2007. She could wear my clothes despite an 11 year age gap.

When she was a teenager she came to visit me in California for a summer. We did everything you can think of: Disneyland, Hollywood, Dodgers game, a trip to Palm Springs, frequent yogurtland trips and chasing sunsets at the beach. She tried Oysters for the first time and hated them. I took her paddle boarding in Malibu and despite the choppy water and her frequently falling, she kept trying. She had such an amazing spirit.

She graduated high school early since she had her beautiful daughter Brooklyn on the way. My first niece. She was such an amazing mother to Brooke. They came to visit me in Ohio where we went to the zoo and aquarium, cams soccer games and pumpkin patch. I loved watching her parent and I loved the time we could all spend together.

My sister was my little best friend, then she shot up to 5’9” and I was her older “little” sister.  From our FaceTimes to visits and texts to our little random rifts that sisters often have there was nothing I wouldn’t have done for my sister. And I know she felt the same.

She was one of my most favorite people. A huge void has been left in my life without her here. I’ll miss her everyday. Wishing I could pick up the phone and call her again, hear her voice, crack on her for her long finger toes and her to tell me I better give her nephew whatever he wants. A loss like this has no words. We grieve for a life that was over too soon, the future she could’ve had,  and for a child who now has to live without her mother.

I’ll love you forever Audrey. I’ll do everything to make sure Brooklyn knows how much you loved her. To make sure she has everything she needs. And to make sure she has the best chance at a long, full life.

Xo, Katelin
