It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Pont, Audrey, 90, of Broward Co., FL on August 14th, 2023. Her legacy of love, strength, and resilience will forever be etched in our hearts.

Born on April 11, 1933 to late Louis and Grayce Essner, Audrey spent her formative years in Pittsburgh until she moved to Miami in 1946 with her brother, Gene, and sister, Nancy. She graduated Miami High School in 1951 and married Irving Pont in 1970. She loved knitting, playing bridge, and her beloved pup, Levi. Audrey was a devoted mother and grandmother, often shown around a dinner table (a true bubbie!). She is survived by her daughter Shari, and sons Paul and Larry, four grandchildren (Ben, Hugh, Sydney, and Dakota), cherished sister Nancy (David), and nieces (Robyn, Michelle and their children Maura, Rachel, Michael, and Matthew). Audrey was a fierce and loyal woman. She will be greatly missed by her family and all that knew her.
