This is one of the hardest things I've ever felt the need to do. A few days ago my original BFF, sister friend of nearly 40 years, God mother to my baby girl, greatest supporter and confidant, Spelman sister, soror and my person, was called home! In the recent months she made it her mission to spend more time around those that she loved. There were great times as well as some sad times but she had finally decided to live and that is what she did!! I am beyond sad, but as I shared with some of her friends and family, we gave her her flowers while she was here. We were her flowers!!! Everyday we ended our calls with "I love you". This brings me peace. I will miss EVERYTHING about Audrey Perry-woullard including her tears! This new normal will not be easy. No more morning calls, rants about how black women are mistreated, politics, mother chats about our beautiful daughters (good and the challenges of motherhood), shopping shares, talks about men (of course) and even the moments of silence! I know my girl is in a way better place and for that I am happy. Shine on Queen. Decorate that mansion. I know it will be fabulous. Until we meet again! I love you beyond measure and always will! Rest well Audtree💔❤🥰😇

Came to Miami several times during the summer to visit my cousin with our Aunt Carol Ann.  Audrey first introduce me to the store Ross. Audrey was an avid bargain hunter and a great hostess!!!

Our cousin will be greatly missed.

You stressed me about eating lobster and seeing the mountains tops on our trip and it was the best trip ever … you saw your mountain tops . I’ll always remember you when I see any mountains again . We spent most of our adolescent summers together! I’ll never forget putting boxes of lemon heads in the sun so the candy would be chewy. Or, driving her to school at Briarwood High and actually staying there all day! Sadly I will miss you, but I will never forget you. Cousin Jacki
