Aubrey 'Skip' Fred Evans Jr., age 80, of Bullard, Tx. passed away on May 29, 2021 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. Aubrey was born to Aubrey Sr. and Ida Bell Evans on August 31, 1940 in San Antonio, Tx. He later moved with his family to Wichita Falls where he grew up, met and married Jo Anne Jacobs and they eventually settled in East Texas. They had four children, Amy Sheppard, Joey Tennison, Sue Wallace and Will Evans. Aubrey retired from Tyler RV and soon after his wife passed. He remarried in 2011 to Maudine Starling . He had two step-children thru this marriage, Sheila Parker and Steve Starling. Aubrey was an avid fisherman and was happiest when out on the lake. He also enjoyed football, historical documentaries, and talking and debating politics. He is proceeded in death by his parents, his first wife, his daughter Sue Wallace and son William Evans. He is survived by his loving family including his wife Maudine Starling-Evans of Bullard, Tx, his daughters, Amy Sheppard of Bullard, Joey Tennison of Tyler, step-children, Sheila Parker of Tyler and Steve Starling of Pennsylvania. Plus many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will truly be missed.
