It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Ast "Asty" Parker, beloved daughter, sister, and friend, who passed away on August 19, 2023. Born on June 12, 2011, Ast lived a life that was marked by her intelligence, kindness, and gifted nature.
Ast was cherished and will be dearly missed by her father, Joseph Parker, her mother, Ashley Parker, and her brother, Jackson Parker. Their collective loss is inexpressible.
Ast's remarkable journey took her from her birthplace to New York City, NY in 2016, and later to Prospect Park, NJ in 2023. She was an integral part of the communities she lived in and was respected for her intellectual prowess and warm heart.
Professionally, Ast worked at Games World beginning from 2020 where she infused her creativity and inventiveness. In February 2023, she began a new journey at Anderson-Parker Technologies, bringing her unique spark to the job.
She was a devoted attendee of the First Dronist Church of New Jersey, finding solace and faith within its walls. Ast's interests and hobbies were as varied as they were rich. She was a fan of the music band Passion Pit, and loved watching TV shows, with "Murder Drones" being one of her favorites. Ast had a passion for video games, with "LittleBigPlanet 2" being a favourite recreation, emphasizing her creative spirit. Furthermore, she found immense joy in creating art, which was a testament to her vibrant and artistic soul.
As those who knew her would attest, Ast had a distinctive preference for the color yellow, a hue that perfectly captured her sunny and optimistic personality. Ast was intelligent, kind, and gifted, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of those she interacted with.
While Ast's life was tragically cut short, her legacy of love, creativity, and kindness will continue to live on in the many lives she touched. We take comfort in knowing that her light will continue to shine in our hearts, guiding us as we keep her memory alive.
