It is with grief and heartbreak that I write about my niece (in-law) Ashley's tragic and sudden death.  I remember the very first time I met her and I liked her immediately.  I prayed (and my prayers were answered--albiet too briefly) that she and my nephew Shawn would make a life together.  

Ashley was THE BEST hostess, cook, interior designer and so much more.  Their home during Christmas season looked like FAO Schwartz.  In deference to our "side" of the family she gave a Hanukkah dinner complete with the traditional holiday potato pancakes, menorah, and dreidels.  Yom Kippur break fast was presented, again, with all that tradition dictates.  If there was a food she knew she liked it was there;  if there was a food she knew you did not like it wasn't.  

Without fail, when it was time to go home there was a "doggie" bag that coulld have fed a litter of Great Danes.  Ashley would offer you the whole menu and after you picked an item or two she wrapped it up and put it in a Target shopping bag.  Invariably, when you got home to unpack there was enough food for a week.  

Ashley never went to anyone's home without a house gift--no matter how many times you told her it wasn't necessary--a candle, flowers, something.  

Ashley was a loving and supportive wife to my  nephew Shawn and a devoted and adoring mother to their child Hudson.  

Ashley was a most welcome addition to our family and she will be missed greatly and forever.

Rest In Peace dear Ashley.  We won't forget you and you will live on in our hearts and minds.  

May her memory be a blessing.

My deepest sympathy to Ashley's entire family and her beautiful WW Family who loved her dearly as well.  As one of those members for almost 4 years, my life was truly touched by the compassionate Community Support she was.  The world has lost a loving beautiful soul but we all know Heaven has gained a true angel!  Rest in peace Ashley.   You are gone far too soon.
