Ashley Lynn Burgess, 36, and  unborn daughter Zavannya Christine Adkins.

Ashley Lynn Burgess (Thompson), 36, and her unborn daughter Zavannya died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 10, 2022 due to complications with the pregnancy in Dayton, Ohio.

Vitation will be 2pm to 3pm and a service will follow from 3pm to 4pm on Friday December 26, 2022 at Glickler Funeral Home in Dayton Ohio.

Ashley was born to Christine A. Thompson and Richard G Thompson on September 26, 1986 in Delaware Ohio.  She is survived by fiance Timothy E. Adkins,  mother Christine A. Thompson, father Richard G. Thompson, brother Cameron Thompson, sons Logan T. Burgess and Milo K. Smith, daughter Rose E. Adkins.

Ashley was joined in death with her daughter Zavannya Christine Adkins.

Ashley was known for her quick-witted humor, fierce determination, and loving spirit.  She had such a huge heart and cherished friends and family.  Ready to take on any adventure, Ashley was always ready to explore!  She loved camping, music, working on her truck, and helping others.  There was never any task that Ashley could not handle.  She would take anything and tackle it with grace and dignity. 

More than anything, Ashley adored being a mom.  Her kids were her world.  She loved her family endlessly.  Making her home welcoming and peaceful came naturally to her.  Ashley was also gifted at always bringing out the best in every person who crossed her path.  It was indeed her super power!  Ashley will be missed by many!
