Mrs. Ashley June Jules Hicks (née Martin), age 62, passed away unexpectedly on May 11, 2025, in Clearwater, Florida. Her sudden passing has left a profound void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Ashley was born on May 14, 1962, in Birmingham, Michigan, to Agnes and James Martin. She was also preceded in death by her father Michael and mother Heather.

Ashley shared 43 years of marriage with her husband, David’s partnership grounded in enduring love and mutual respect. Together they raised two children, Pauline and David Jr., who were the center of Ashley’s life.

She is also mourned by her brother Michael and sister-in-law Pauline; her sister Mary and brothers-in-law Mark and Rodger; and sister-in-law Barbara. Each shared a meaningful bond with Ashley and will carry forward treasured memories of her.

At the time of her passing, Ashley was looking forward to celebrating Mother’s Day with her children—an occasion that now stands as a poignant reminder of life’s fragility. Her loss is deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A private celebration of life will be held on May 14 in Michigan, honoring cherished memories. A separate celebration of life will take place in Clearwater, Florida, on a date yet to be determined, allowing for togetherness and remembrance.
