Ashleigh's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Ashleigh Salucci (nee Evans), who passed away on April 13, 2024. Born on September 25, 1985, Ashleigh embraced life with a warm, funny and kind spirit, embodying in every way, what she described as her 'gypsy soul'.

Immortal in our hearts, Ashleigh will be loved and remembered by her husband, Matt Salucci, her partner and soul mate Stephen Wilson and her dear children, Francesca 'Frankie' Salucci, Quinn Salucci, and Aiden Johnston. She also leaves behind a loving sister, Brooklin Evans, who shared many memorable moments with her. Ashleigh was predeceased by her son, Preston Laverty, whose memory continues to live within us.

Those who knew Ashleigh best would agree that her greatest gift was her ability to empathize with others. Throughout her life, she persistently highlighted the importance of empathy, teaching by example to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit will continue to inspire everyone she touched, nurturing the goodness in us all.

Ashleigh's legacy is not merely found in her memorable accomplishments, but in the simplicity of her recovery journey. She fought bravely, got sober and lived a humble yet profound life of recovery. Her legacy of strength, perseverance, and humility is embodied most prominently in her children, in her acts of kindness, and in her transformative journey towards recovery.

In remembrance of Ashleigh, we celebrate her life and journey, and honor her indelible impact on all of us. She will be missed deeply, and remembered fondly, leaving an everlasting imprint on our hearts.
