Ashkan's obituary

Ashkan Jalali suddenly passed away as a result of a single car accident on September 11, 2019. He was just 38 years old. Ashkan was an outgoing, vibrant man who was passionate about helping others and making his friends smile with one of his quirky jokes. Most recently, he began trying to achieve his dream goal of starting a non-profit organization that focused on helping the "less fortunate". To Ashkan, the "less fortunate" meant ANYONE who had some sort of struggle. Whether that be not enough food or clothing, or maybe even someone who was new in town and couldn't afford a hotel room for the night. It was Ashkan's dream to be everyone's knight in shining armor. Ultimately, his passion and drive to help others was held in part as the reason he's gone. As he drove to help someone who called him for a ride after their own vehicle broke down, Ashkan lost control of his vehicle for reasons unknown and crashed into a tree killing him almost instantly.
He is survived by his father Bahram Jalali, his mother Elaheh Jalali-Armeen, his doting and loving wife Amaya Jalali their 4 year old son Bijan Jalali and his half sister Yenageh Jalali, who, he most recently found out he had; along with host of friends who will all miss him dearly.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be sent to one of the following charities in honor of our beloved Ashkan.

St. Judes Hospital for childhood cancer research
Shriners Hospital for children facing orthopedic conditions
Humane Society for pets

We know all of your hearts are broken, as is ours, but through donating to his favorite charities, we can keep his memory alive by giving back in his name.
