My heartfelt sympathy goes to the children and family of Arturo Rios. I knew him and worked with him for many years while assisting persons with various disabilities with Vocational Rehabilitation. Arturo was not much into socializing but he was a great friend, "funny" many times, and he was a support to me and other coworkers. He was very intelligent but the "hood" came out of him many times and with each understanding that culture and language, we had a ball communicating of the "ole" days. He would have a pot of coffee ready each morning so we could share so the soft side of him always came out from behind the quiet guy. I cared for him deeply as a good friend and was surprised to hear that Hazel was his beautiful wife! I knew her before him when asking Hazel for food boxes for our high risk families. They were an awesome couple and Arturo loved Hazel with all his heart and he just couldn't be without her. Upon hearing of Arturo's death, I heard Hazel passed before him. That broke my heart! I will miss him. He found me after many years of retirement to tell me where they lived and to keep our connection alive. He was my buddy but he and Hazel were taken too close in time. I will always appreciate him for all the help he gave me and the fun times in the office. He will never be forgotten. Margo Morquecho
