Arthur (Artie) Kevin Sheffler went home to be with Jesus Christ on January 17th, 2022 at age 56.

Artie was born to Bob and Delores Sheffler on September 9th, 1965 in Cecil County, MD. Artie grew up in Chesapeake City, MD.

Artie met Faith Stine in 1992 at Petro Truck Stop in Elkton, MD. They have one child together, Michael Stine, born in 1998.

In addition to being a dedicated Fire Fighter, Artie also loved fishing, truck pulls, and days at the beach. Artie was very passionate about animals. He loved taking his dogs for walks and enjoyed feeding wild birds and squirrels. Artie loved spending time with his seven Grand Littles. Throughout his life, he held an unwavering faith in God and attended The Bible Church of Jesus Christ.

Artie joins his parents, Bob and Delores, brother Gary, and many nieces and nephews in Heaven. He is survived by his son, Michael Stine of Elkton, MD, brother Bobby Sheffler of Elkton, MD, sisters, Cindy Johnson (Walter) of Elkton, MD, Melody Sheffler of Middletown, DE, Laurie Sheffler ( Bobby Loggins) of Newark, DE, and Fiancée/Caretaker Faith Stine of Elkton, MD, in addition to many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
