Artie was one of the most talented pianist I ever met. He could make any musician sound good, even me. I will miss his laugh and extremely good nature. I admire his love for Dale and his compassion for life. He will be dearly missed by all .

Steve and I first met Artie when he married our dear friend Dale. Right away we could tell they were well matched with Dale’s acting and singing background and Arties excellence at piano playing it was a match made in heaven and we were so happy for them both. We’re forever grateful that we did get to spend time with both Dale and Artie at Morse Life where they both out of the goodness of their hearts volunteered their time to entertain the residents in the nursing facility and my mom when we visited. We will be forever grateful to Artie for giving our tropical fish a good home when we had to give up our fish tank. Artie was a fantastic cook! If it wasn’t for him we would have never known to buy male eggplants. You will be missed our dear friend may you RIP 💕
Mary & Lenny: We will miss the time we spend together through the many years. Glad to have known you and shared many good Memories with you and your family.
Artie and I played many musical jobs together and at the end of each performance he'd say to me "we fooled them again"

I really miss the work that Artie put into playing the William Tells Overture. It was sad we only played it once.
Gaby & Bob Roden - Artie...You are and will be ever missed. You were a gentle man..... a gentleman. A rarity in today's world. Music lovers gathered and evolved around you as you created a rare space for us to gather and participate in the joy and miracle that only music can bring.

Music Creates its Own Time - by John O'Donohue
In contract to other forms of art, music alters your experience of time.
To enter a piece of music is to depart for a while from regulated time.

In music there is a suspension of the world. We are seduced into another place of pure feeling. No other art distills feelings the way music does; this is how it utterly can claim us. Music is the depth of seamless form. As T.S. Eliot said: "Poetry like music should communicate before it is understood."

The beauty of music crosses all psychological and cultural frontiers. This is the authority and grace of music. In our everyday experience the quality of presence is generally limited and broken. When you enter into a piece of music feelings deepen and your presence clarifies. it brings you back to the mystery of who you are.

Music embraces the whole person. The inrush of intimacy in music is irresistible. It takes you before you can halt it. It is as though music reaches that subtle threshold within us where the soul dovetails with the eternal.

Thank you Dear Artie for this glorious and wonderful gift. Bob
A wonderful friend and exceptionally good person, who lived the life he wanted, music, friends, family and the love of a wonderful wife, I will miss him.

I fondly remember Artie’s New Year’s Eve parties with a smorgasbord of wonderful Italian foods and the love he had for my dear friend Dale...a perfect, loving couple. You have touched so many lives Artie and you will be missed.
Our sincerest condolences to your family. Thomas and Cheryl chaput
Its been many years but I do have some fun memories. The piano the jokes the kindness. The world has list a beautiful soul
The memories....the music...the laughter...the soul of a man who was filled with love and compassion...rest in peace
When we worked at Barth Spencer we had a company bowling league. After bowling we ordered food and sat in a room at the bowling alley. The room had a cheap organ you would find at home. Artie would sit at this organ like it was his piano at home. People would shout out songs and Artie would play them. Many times people did not know the title just a few words in the song. I think we looked forward to listening to Artie play rater than actually bowl.
I have known Artie all my life, he loved his family, his music and his friends. He gave me the chance to get out of the super market and start my career in purchasing. I will always be grateful for the chance he gave me. I always wished I could see him again when he visited his brother Richie. He should rest in peace with the knowledge that he touched the heart of all who met him.
In response to "What did Artie love to do?"
Artie was an inspiration to me. He was the best at bringing my singing out to the audience. He taught me to have confidence in my voice. He had such a love of music and he taught me so much about the voice. I am so happy that I had the opportunity to sung to his backup. He was the best ever. May he Rest In Peace. Best, Robin (M) Gray
