On March 3, 2020, Arthur Edward Malanga, loving father of two children, passed away peacefully at the age of 64 in Rutherfordton, NC. Arthur was born on August 30, 1955 in Newark, NJ to Arthur Edwin and Catherine (Reilly) Malanga. He received his college degree from Glassboro State and worked in environmental science. He became an expert plater and procured patents for chemical solutions. On June 2, 1984, he married Victoria Reddin. They raised two children, Vanessa and Arthur John (AJ). Art was an avid music lover and voracious reader. Like his mother and daughter, he knew the words to every song and enjoyed harmonizing. Art enjoyed the outdoors and was active in Boy Scouts, for which his son earned his Eagle Award. Art was known for his kind and compassionate spirit. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and brother, Michael. He is survived by two children, his brothers, James and Edward, his sister, Colleen, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
