Arthur's obituary

Arthur Herman "Bud" Roshon

Dad was born 12/24/1938 in Westerville Ohio, and Passed away peacefully on 7/5/2025 in Concord California.  He was 86 years old.

He moved to San Diego California  as a small child where he graduated from Point Loma High school  in 1956, where  he met the love of his life, Patricia Francis Whyte, mother of his 4 children.  Dan, Dianne,  Gayle,  and David. They were married for 20 wonderful years.

Arthur's life was marked by devotion-to his family, his faith, and his many passions.  Known affectionately as "Buddy" or Bud, he shared a deep bond with those around him and left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 20 years, Patricia Roshon whom he shared a rich life filled with music and service.  Together,  they sang duets in church and led the youth choir for many years, nurturing both faith and fellowship through song.  Arthur also sang in the church choir himself,  lending his voice to worship and community gatherings.  Arthur is lovingly remembered by his children: Daughters Dianne Roshon Johnson and Gayle Roshon Mever,  and  son David Roshon.  He was also predeceased bv his son Daniel Roshon.  His legacy continues through his 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A man of many interests and talents,  Arthur found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved camping trips to the Sierra Nevada Mountains with the men in the family.  At home, he took pride in maintaining the yard and spent countless hours swimming  with his family and loved ones in the backyard pools. In the 1970s, long before personal computing  became commonplace,  Arthur built computers-a testament to his curiosity and forward-thinking spirit.  Arthur's life was one of a quiet dedication-to his family, to his church community, and to the pursuits that brought  him joy. His memory will live on in the songs he sang, the traditions he helped build, and the lives of those  who carry forward his love.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him!
