Arthur's obituary
Arthur Lamar Green (Artie) was born on June 20, 1963 in Charleston, SC to Arthur and Judy Green. He was a graduate of the DC Public School System (Cardozo High) and went on to work at Wells Fargo Bank, United Airlines and on to Home Depot, where he reconnected with EVERYONE as they shopped the store. Artie made the most important step in his life in October 1991, where he publicly symbolized, by water baptism, the dedication of his life to Jehovah God. As time went on he had the privilege of serving as a Regular Pioneer. In 2005, he made another important step, he married the love of his life, Darlese, both serving Jehovah together until sickness ended his life. Even though Artie and Darlese were married just short of 18 years, they did so much together. They were privileged to attend International Conventions together, quality time together in the field ministry, enjoyable vacations with family and friends, treating each other to shopping sprees and checked out the best restaurants, eateries and happy hours. Also. during the pandemic, they enjoyed cooking together at home. A noteworthy fact is that Artie is known for his fun loving personality and contagious laughter.
Artie is survived by his loving Wife Darlese and his Mom Judy. His father Arthur Green passed away prior to his death. He is also survived by a loving Sister Neki, and nephew Xavier (Faye). He inherited three stepchildren Curtis Lang, Jr., Tiffani Mundaray (Wayne), and Brittani Wilkins. Eleven Grandchildren, Zyair (deceased), Imani, Tyreah, Mondre, Zada, Torrien, Kennadi, Wayne, Zyah, Brion, and Ahmad; three Grand nephews, Xavier, Jr., Caleb, Easton and one grand niece, Oaklyn, and two great grandchildren, Mondre, Jr. and Brooklyn, and a host of other relatives, family and many friends.
As you can see, Artie was truly loved and will be missed tremendously
