To Arthur's family, his beloved wife and children, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Arthur and I worked together at Northwell and he saved me many times by helping me out, teaching me stuff and going out of his way.  I hope I was able to do the same for him... He was a treasure and the world will not be the same without him.  Praise the Lord Jesus who has saved us and holds Arthur in his arms.  God bless and I pray you find comfort and strength in your love and faith.

I was so sorry to hear about Arthur's passing. He was such a quiet , dedicated Christian  and love his family.  I met him and his wife while his son Aj  and my son Joel were attending PS 251. We worked  on PTA assignments together.  I am so shocked to hear of his untimely passing. Nadine, Aj, Josiah and all other family and friends, please accept  my condolences.   🙏🏾👏🏾💐❤️

It is with a heavy heart that I grieve the passing of my beloved Arthur.  I thank God for the years he gave to Nadine and the boys as well as our family.

1 Corinthians 13 defines love as being generous, patient and kind. That is Arthur. Love is not boastful,  that was Arthur.  Love is not arrogant nor resentful,  that was Arthur. Love is not conceited neither was Arthur.  His love has defied time,  space,  distance,  and circumstances.

The essence of his regular prayers,  ministered when he visited me over the years still remains in my living room.  The calaloo and tomatoes as gifts for me from your garden. I now acknowledge again.

The welcome party in heaven consist of those in our family who might not have known you.  Stand on the heavenly balcony and enjoy them.  Thank you for listening patiently to our silly,  funny family stories.  I grieve the change and mileage in distance from you all.  From your example,  we will use the cross as a clarifying force.  We now have a new normal to contend with.

We commit to raising your sons as you would want us to,  in the fear and admonition of the Lord.  Arthur was dedicated to his family.  He was dedicated to God and his church.

"The measure of the man" by Sidney Poitier is how you take care of your family.  I would like everyone to know that Arthur was THE MAN.

We are troubled on every side yet not distressed; we are perplexed but not in despair.  Persecuted but not forsaken,  cast down but not destroyed.  2 Corinthians  4:8 we will wait on the Lord to renew our strength so that we can mount up with wings as eagles,  we shall run and not be weary,  we shall walk and not faint.

Sleep on beloved, sleep and take your rest. We love you yes, but Jesus loves you best.  Goodnight.

Love Aunt Pat.

The way I remember you Min. Walker is as one of my favorite Sunday School teachers. You were very shy, but I knew you could sing. Sis Nadine said “let him do it”.

My heart is so saddened, but yet I take comfort in remembering the good times we spent at church, thanksgiving, Christmas, baby birthdays, and you’re funny in your own way. You word is “Eee” 😊 and you will be so missed. Your humbleness speaks for you. We love you but there’s someone who loves you more. Sleep on my brother and friend. 💐☘️🌾🌼🙏🏽

Arthur was a beautiful person, always so kind, calm, helpful, always smiling. It was a true pleasure working with him for almost 15 years. He was sunshine. You saw him and smiled. I miss him. Sending love and healing to his family and friends. May you be comforted by the love of all those who were lucky enough to know him.
