With a heavy heart, I announce the passing of my father, Art Delgado. 

Master mechanic, history, and music buff. His sense of humor was quick and snarky, his style laid back. 

Art is directly survived by his daughter, Destinee, and sons Robert and Chris. Art is also survived by his other family; his late wife, his mother, three brothers, sister, nieces and nephews.

Supposedly, a celebration of life was held by Art's family without his children being invited. Art told Destinee that he wished to be cremated and put into the ocean. Wanting to wait a year to just mourn him, his children decided to place Art into the ocean with the small portion of ashes they managed to receive. It is unknown to them where the rest of Art's ashes are or what became of them. But with what was left, they laid Art to rest in the waters of Narragansett Beach, Rhode Island on Freyja's Day. A single red candle was lit as an offering to Hestia so that Art's spirit could cross over in peace.
