Wow this loss shook me to my core. Pierre family you are in my prayers. A very big chunk of my childhood was spent being loved by Pastor Arnold and his family. I loved when he would come to florida to visit it was always the highlight of my summers. My fondest memory was our road trip up to Jersey with him and the family. He and his wife were always so loving and so happy. I remember saying I want what they have when I grow up. Life happened and our families lost touch… but there wasn’t a time that went by that I didn’t think of him and his family. Wow, my condolences to the Pierre family and everyone who has been affected by this tragic loss of life… it’s tragic to us but I am comforted to know it’s a celebration in Heaven. He was a man of God through and through and I will always be grateful for the role he played in my life.

I will never forget “50 High Street”, my very first home in the USA, and the priceless memories I had with Pastor Arnold’s children Samuelle, Jean Arnold, Ketsia, Osee, Esdras, Manuel, and Moses. Pastor Arnold Pierre and his wife Mrs. Paulette opened up their home and their hearts and took me in when I immigrated to this country. He was a blessing to my family in so many ways. During my teenage years, I was a member of Bethel Church and got baptized. I will forever treasure the nickname “Gran Panpan” he gave me after performing a solo in the church “Gran panpan pap antre nan syel.” May the Lord give strength and comfort to his wife and the children.

Pastor Arnold as we all knew him was like a father to me. He encouraged us to migrate to the United States and he stood with us throughout our journey. My favorite qualities was his love for God. With that love he blessed many families. He was selfless. He knows how to brighten up a room. There's no being sad around him. If it was up to him and his wife I would be a doctor today, but instead you have one that likes to review the law, and make arguments. He will forever be missed. My heart goes out to his wife, his best friend and his children. Arnold, I will always love you.
