Arny's obituary

Mr. Arnold Nelson Mahler, known to many as "Arny," passed away on December 19, 2024, in Villa Park, California, at the age of 89.

Born on September 4, 1935, in Teaneck, New Jersey, Arnold pursued his education at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He maintained a lifelong passion for financial markets and remained engaged with the ever-evolving world of finance. His curiosity extended beyond his professional interests— A dedicated traveler, Arny embraced opportunities to explore different cultures and destinations around the world alongside his wife, Roberta Jo "Bobbi" Mahler.

An avid tennis enthusiast, Arny found joy in the competition on the court. Whether playing or watching professional players, tennis remained a constant source of activity and connection throughout his life.

Arnold is survived by his wife, Bobbi Mahler; his children, Beth Mahler, Alison Kupersmith, and David Mahler; and his grandchildren: Rebekah Delamora and Matthew Delamora (children from Beth); and Jared Kupersmith and Zachary Kupersmith (children from Alison). He is survived by his sister, Myrna June Cooper. He was predeceased by his stepdaughter, Megan Mulholland, and his parents, Mortimer Mahler and Florence Nelson Mahler.

A man of the Jewish faith, Arny carried with him traditions that remained meaningful throughout his journey. He lived a complex life and will be remembered in unique ways by those who knew him. His journey left lasting impressions on those around him, and those who knew him will remember him in their own unique ways.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
