We will always remember Pastor Hansen as a kind, hard-working man of God. He was a wise mentor and caring friend to us in our time together at Hobart Assembly of God. We send our love and condolences to the entire Hansen family. The Chaddocks

I’ve had the privilege of learning from Pastor Raymond through our weekly senior Bible study. I hadn’t been part of our group for long yet quickly developed a deep love for Juanita and him. It was a rich time of learning from this very wise, knowledgeable, and discerning pastor. I already miss him and we’re praying for you our precious Juanita.

I will always remember two important concepts that Pastor Hansen loved to share. The first and most important is "God is good....all the time...And all the time...God is good. " And second, his advice to everyone usually included the phrase, "Do your best, do what is right, and study". Pastor Hansen was always your biggest cheerleader. He legitimately celebrated with you when you were excited. I will miss his "High 5!" I will never forget the Sunday evening during football season he was particularly excited about his Packers, and accidently, or at least without consulting Juanita first, invited the entire church over for ice cream and to watch the game after service. He was a great example of how to love God and love people.

Pastor Ray & Juanita are dear friends. Our friendship developed at Cracker Barrel and Subway. They are Godparents to our kids.

Act of kindness that I witnessed by Pastor Ray he was a person who truly loved his family, he was a man who demonstrated his walk, and his talk were the same. As we look for a new minister for our church, it was brought to my attention by a person on our Search committee that one thing he liked about Pastor and Juanita was when they walked down the church parking lot, Pastor, Ray held his wife’s hand all the way to the house. I have seen him do this on numerous occasions. Once again he demonstrated what he believed.
In response to "What act of kindness did you witness from Ray?"

Pastor Hansen was a great storyteller. He told a story once about a lady who asked him to bury her with a fork in her hand when he questioned her about this she talked about having a great dinner and was waiting for dessert because the best was yet to come. The best is here for Pastor Hansen. He lived a great life. He loved everyone he knew I feel he loved to challenge young ministers those involved in ministry help shaped them to become who they are in life. I will never forget the influence he had on my life. Things he has taught me over the years. I still used today in ministry. He was the first one to let me preach in church. He was the first one to challenge me after I got out of school. He mentored me a great deal and I appreciate him thank you Pastor Hansen and his family for all you’ve done in my life and I will never forget these words that he told me numerous times do your best, do what’s right, and study. Many letters I received from him in college, had those words at the end and they have been and always will be great encouragement to me.
