Armand (Bob) Morone, 91 of Spotswood, N.J. passed on Tues Nov. 24, 2020. Mr. Morone formerly of Elizabeth owned Buckley's Tavern & Liquor Store in Elizabeth from 1962 to 1977. He then was a trucker 'till his retirement in 1995. He also drove a bus part time for the next 10 years. He is survived by his partner Joan Boczkus of Spotswood and his three sons : Mike of Susquehanna, Pa., John of Elizabeth, N.J., and Stephen of Marshalls Creek, Pa. He also had two desceased sons, Philip and Edward. Visitation is Sunday, Nov 29 from 2-6 pm, with a short service Monday morning at 9:00 am at Rezem Funeral Home , East Brunswick. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Roman Catholic Cemetery on McClellan St., Newark, N.J. beside his parents and grandparents at 11:00 am. Mr. Morone will be greatly missed by his nephews, nieces, and friends.
