I recall Mother Carson encouraging me and others. Her spirit lives on. God bless her family.

Mom would love to visit Indiana, we would take long walks on the beach, she at time could outwalk me, we would call her the every ready bunny because she had so much energy.   She was an excellent artist, flower designer.  When I was a teenager, she became a girl scout leader,  she gave tours of the Botanical Garden in New York.  Mom was an excellent swimmer, she taught us all how to swim.

Mom was born in Columbus, Ohio to Claude O. Revels and Myrtle Anderson-Revels in 1920.  She was raised in New York by Caldonia Hill, because her mother died at birth and her father relocated her to New York where she lived all of her life, she loved New York.   She and our dad Alswanson Carson who passed in 1961 from Leukemia (he was exposed to radiation during WW11).   We had a very happy family, they had 5 children together, Claudette, Ronald, Etelle, Wendy and myself (Saundra).  She introduced us to Museums, Plays,  and culture, taught us to be thankful and made sure we went to church each sunday.  She was baptised as a child and accepted the Lord as her savior.

She is missed so much, her grace and her smile.

She was very thoughtful and caring and spoke her mind when she felt  she needed too and she was that very loving.  She was adventurous and like to travel to various places
