Arlene was my neighbor across the hall. We always chatted and did many of the games together. She was a really sweet person. The one thing that stands out to me was a gift bag she got for Valentine’s Day. I loved the bag so she gave it to me. As I was taking out the flowered tissue paper I found a wadded up piece at the bottom. I undid it and found a gorgeous long silver necklace. When we went down to dinner I told her she missed a gift. She insisted she did not. I pulled out the wadded up flower tissue paper and took out the necklace. I told her that I guess this was not her’s, and then I held it out to her. She was so surprised and took it saying thank you. Every time she wore the necklace we would share a look and a giggle. I miss her so much.

Danny, Mitch, Andrea and Paul -
Your mom was my very favorite auntie and I loved her so much. Remember the good times you had with her. She was such a loving and devoted mother to you kids. You were so lucky to have had her as your mom. The pictures are awesome.
