Arlene M LaPorte, born July 31, 1933, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2023 in Mesa AZ.   Arlene loved and was thankful for her family, which she had just posted on her door at Thanksgiving.  Arlene is survived by her daughters, Lyndel (Ron) Silvers and Cindee (Randy) Thielking, her 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Renea (Greg) Johnson and Cheryl (Dennis) Troester.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Marcella Mark, her daughter Liza LaPorte-Smith and her son Jay LaPorte who she missed so much and is now reunited with them in heaven.

Arlene’s career included Accounting at Alexian Brothers Medical Center which she loved very much. When she retired, she moved to Arizona and was a master decorator in southwestern décor. She then moved to Florida and eventually back to Arizona. Arlene had a passion for cats and loved music she could dance to, shopping and going to her exercise classes. She enjoyed helping others at her residence and going to bible study.  

A private memorial will be held at a later date in Illinois.
