Arlene's obituary

Arlene Orwin DeWolfe Our beloved Mom, Gramma, Great Gramma, Sister and Aunt left us Monday April 24th surrounded by the love of her Sons, Grand-Daughters, Great Grandsons and all who knew her. Proceeded in death by her daughter Kristen Leigh and her loving Husband Richard DeWolfe, Brothers: Leonard (Eva), Kent (Edna), David and Sisters: Lucille and Shirley (Kenny). She is survived by her Sons; Kelly, Kurt and Kevin, Grand Daughters; Cierra and Mariah (Trey); Great Grandsons Andre and Marshall her baby Brother John (Marlene) and MANY Nieces and Nephews. Paul and Anna, Debbie and Jim, Chris and Amy, Denise and Stacey, Brenda and Marla and Brian and Terry and Mindy and Jason and of course her self-proclaimed favorite niece Courtney.

Mom lived a full life and knew true love, and though her Husband was a bit of a living tornado he loved her unconditionally and they truly lifted each other up; for that I am forever grateful. She found renewed joy through her Great Grandsons Andre and Marshall and enjoyed hours of lap-time, amazed as she and Andre figured out how to play countless games and apps together. She was a factory worker at MTI in Cedar City for over 25 years and she had a work ethic and a sense of personal responsibility that is undeniable.

Her love for her oldest dearest friend from High School Kay Wade is truly inspirational and she looked forward to their lunches with relish (Mom loved a good pun, and a bad one).

She will of course be missed but she is now at peace. Her ashes will be scattered where we left her beloved Richard sometime in the spring. It’s an hours long drive and a short hike but any who want to come are welcome. The location will be shared non-publicly just message me. We will probably have some kind of celebration of life in the coming weeks but Mom did not want a fuss. In lieu of flowers or anything other than good thoughts; please remember her when you see a particularly beautiful sunset or are struck by the silliness in word play and the joy in a child’s laugh. Hug someone Love more.
