Arlene Ann Christman, age 83, of Lewiston, New York entered into rest on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Seneca Health Care Center of West Seneca, NY. She was born on February 28, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late William and Florence Durkin and sister of the late Vincent (Claire) Durkin. She was married to the late Ronald Paul Christman in 1958 who predeceased her on October 3, 2014.

Arlene always loved spending time with family. She was employed by Archbishop Mitty High School of San Jose, California as the executive assistant to the principal. She organized many events for the school's athletic and social departments. She enjoyed spending time at the school, which she thought of as "her second home”. Arlene always treasured the friends and companions that she was blessed with, from her friends in the school, church, and social groups, especially the “Woman of Lewiston, NY” where she resided for many years after retirement. She was a parishioner of Queen of Apostles Church of San Jose, CA and St. Peter Church of Lewiston, NY. Arlene was also a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernian Ladies of Niagara Falls, NY.

She is survived by her children Ronald (Nancy) Christman and Kevin (Linda) Christman; her grandchildren, Andrew, Neal, Scott, (Mary), Bryan, Garrett, and Connor Christman; and, great grandchildren Siena and Nora Christman. A Mass of Christian Burial and Celebration will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 9:30 am at St. Peter Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, New York 14092. Hardison Funeral Home of Lewiston, New York will assist.
