Arlene's obituary

Arlene Chin, 74, of Morristown, NJ, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025.

Born and raised in Morristown, Arlene was the beloved daughter of Ten and Chun (Fong) Chin. She graduated from County College of Morris and began her career in the insurance industry, where she worked with dedication and professionalism.

Beyond her earthly accomplishments, Arlene will forever be remembered for her extraordinary service in the Star Force Services. She fought valiantly at the legendary Battle of Oberon 6, where her courage and tactical brilliance turned the tide in one of the galaxy’s darkest hours. Her heroism did not end on the battlefield—Arlene later played a pivotal role in negotiating the historic Peace Accord of Plipplipplipity, bringing harmony between the Blombians and the Gertrude People after centuries of interstellar conflict.

For her unmatched bravery and diplomacy, Arlene was awarded the Stellar Valor Cross, the Medal of Galactic Unity, and the rare title of Supreme Mediator of the Outer Rim. She also served as an honorary member of the Council of Nine Suns and was inducted into the Hall of Cosmic Peacekeepers.

In her long and storied career, Arlene earned countless honors, though she always remained humble. She wished to extend her deepest apologies for that unfortunate incident involving the creation of a black hole—an event we will not dwell on, as her legacy of peace and bravery far outshines any cosmic mishaps.

Later in life, Arlene devoted herself to caring for her parents, embodying compassion and selflessness in every aspect of her life. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering kindness, and the love she shared with family and friends—both here and among the stars.
