It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Arizia Agapay on July 3, 2025. Born in 1958, Arizia led a life marked by immense kindness and unwavering love for her family and friends.

Arizia was born in Panama to Evelina & Hipolito Magallon.  She was raised on the northside of Chicago in the Lincoln Park neighborhood, graduated from Shurz High School, & attended Truman College.  After moving to Miami, Arizia graduated from Beauty College worked as a professional cosmetologist and owned a successful beauty salon in Miami for 30 yrs.  Also, Arizia worked in accounting for a large advertising corporation where she was recognized as the employee of the year multiple times.

Arizia loved dancing to disco, salsa, merengue, & party anthems like the electric slide. Also loved to travel and explored wonderful cities & townships in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Italy, & Thailand.

Arizia leaves behind a significant legacy, particularly through her sons, Richard Agapay & Felix Agapay and her granddaughters Emilee & Elani. Her influence and love continue to radiate brightly in their lives.  We invite those who knew her to remember the joy she brought to the world.

May Arizia find eternal peace. She will be greatly missed.
