Aretha was taken too soon from us at the age of 49, and she passed away peacefully on April 13, 2023, surrounded by her loving daughters.

Aretha Dee Forks was born on June 27, 1973 to Maudina Forks and Melvin Williams in Tacoma, WA and was raised by her Mother and Robert L. Boone since infancy.  

Aretha was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Throughout her life, she touched many lives with her infectious laugh, her ease of conversation, and her acceptance of all. She loved spending time with her family and her dog Prince, playing games on her phone, and learning Spanish in her free time.

Above all else, Aretha cherished her family. She is survived by her daughters Tierra, Danika, and Destiny. Her Mother and Father Maudina and Robert, her Sisters  Wynona and Tresica, and her grandchildren Imani, Immanuel, and Ihzan; all will miss her deeply. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest with Love and Peace in Paradise.
