Ardis Bang, 91, of Plano, TX, passed away on August 22, 2022, surrounded by her friends and family.

Ardis, born on September 30, 1931, in Lake Mills, Iowa, immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. Ardis graduated from Lake Mills High School as an honor student.  In 1954,  Ardis met Vernon, and the two were inseparable from that point on. Vernon and Ardis were married for over 60 years and had two children, Rhonda and Jason.

Ardis was a fiercely dedicated mom and grandma to her children and grandchildren. Family came first and was above all else to Ardis, a value she instilled in everyone around her. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.

Ardis was predeceased by her husband, Vernon, and her daughter, Rhonda. She is survived by her son Jason, her daughter-in-law, Allison, and her grandsons, Brendan, Gavin, and Logan. Instead of flowers, please consider a donation in Ardis’ name to Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Plano, TX.
