Aracelis's obituary
Aracelis Otero-Martinez Adams was a caring wife, mother, nana, sister, and friend. She fulfilled her duties on earth, and returned to the Lord on May 15, 2022.
She was born to Lt. Col. Domingo Otero Figueroa and Eugenia Otero Martienz on May 9, 1961. She lived a full life traveling around with her sisters and brothers. She attended Vineland High School and graduated 1977. She got an Associates Degree from Rowan College in 1981. Worked hand and hand with the governor of Puerto Rico. She then moved to New Jersey with her daughter, Amber Marie Otero, (currently Sheppard), in pursuit of new dreams. In 1998 She gave birth to her loving son Aaron Vaughn Brown. She not only made all of her dreams come true but she touched the lives of everyone around her. Aracelis was a shining example of leadership. She dedicated 20+ hardworking years at Riteaid, where she created a loving culture and family around her. So much so that she was known as Momma Celis to so many. She was full of creativity. She enjoyed planning parties, making crafts, sewing, painting, drawling, and spending time with her loved ones.
She married her husband Edward L Adams on July 15, 2017. Both her and Edward are long standing members of The Rock Church.
She is survived by her husband Edward L Adams, her two children, Amber Marie Sheppard (William E. Sheppard IV) and Aaron Vaughn Brown, her two grandchildren William Edgar Sheppard V and Kylie Marie Sheppard, along with her siblings Jose Luis Otero, Miguel Luis Otero (Besty), Aurea E Mendez, Mary Munoz-Otero (Elliot), Jorge Luis Otero.
She is joined with open arms by the Lord, her parents Domingo and Eugenia, Along with her siblings Sgt Jose A. Otero (Lucy), Sgt. Domingo Otero, Jr. (Conchita), Carmen Iris Otero-Zayas.
