It is with deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Aquila Latigue on August 23, 2024 at Maison De Teche in Lafayette, LA. She was born on May 2, 1986, Aquila possessed a heart full of kindness and a spirit imbued with resilience. A woman of acute intelligence and remarkable grace, her presence was a source of joy and comfort to those around her. Her untimely loss leaves a profound void in our lives.

Aquila is survived by her father Rickey Latigue Sr. (Crystal) of New Iberia, LA. Her mother Carolyn Collins of Lafayette,LA. Five brothers, Chronicle Latigue, Esias Latigue, Elijah Latigue, Rickey Latigue Jr, And QuinC Jones of New Iberia, LA. Two sisters Glory To Glory Latigue and Shanell- Monise Jones (Adrian) both of New Iberia, LA. In these moments of loss and sadness, let's remember Aquila for her abundant love, enduring strength, and her unquenchable zest for life. Her remarkable journey and enduring spirit will continue to inspire us all.
