Antwan Clark passed away unexpectedly on September 30, 2023 at the age of 30, after having his life violently taken so young..

Born to Marvette Johnson and James Clark on May 7 1993, Antwan was promising as a baby. When he was 4 years old , he immediately became obsessed with science . Some of Antwan favorite activities were building lava volcanoes as a project, or learning about the stars. He eventually graduated to wanting to learn about the Human body. Antwan thrived in Biology, which earned him a Bachelor’s Degree from Dillard University as well as a Masters degree from Xavier University. He loved spending time with his daughter who was born last year in July of 2022. She gave him the motivation to go after his PHD which he was in the middle of taking classes. As we all know, that goal would’ve been achieved. 

Our family was not expecting the loss of Antwan or for their life to be cut so short so soon. We are devastated by this loss and will feel the absence of Antwan forever. He was the sweetest, kindest, most loving  soul and a joy to be around. He will be forever missed.

Antwan will always be remembered by his mother Marvette Johnson, his sisters Antionnette  and  Sasha, as well as his daughter Treasure. He will be reunited with his father who passed away from gun violence just last year.

Antwan will be celebrated on October 14, 2023 at New Hope Baptist Church in New Orleans, LA for 11am.
