Andy, Drew Kindseth and I rode together to our 2x/week noontime basketball games. For years. We all worked at the Lincoln Center but in different towers. Once my job moved there, we became like the "three amigos" to quote Drew in terms of riding together. Hoops was fun, but it was the drives down and back that was the most fun. Trivia, fun stories, music and some serious moments were all part of the rides. I looked forward to these times more than I can say....Andy was a competitive and fun guy to be around. I miss our drives together.
In response to "What was the most fun you ever had with Andy?"
Rob and Andy shared the hallways of Avalon Memory Care.  Bonnie shared in caregiving with Joni.  Hold your head high in heaven Andy! We love you both. Rob and Bonnie Blank

Cathy, Joni and Family,

We send our sincere condolences on the loss of Andy.  We share so many memories of Andy during our junior and high school years - band, Troop 91, and many classes and school activities.  Andy was a good story-teller and always found a way to bring a smile and make us laugh. We are very glad we had a chance to have a good visit with him at our last class reunion. He was our friend, and we will miss him.

Andy and I were roommates freshman year at OU through a blind draw, and struggled some because we were very different people. However, Andy was consistently bright and positive during those days - at times, probably more than I deserved. Years later, we ran into each other at his son's Beta initiation, and he was as friendly and kind as he was all those years ago. I never forgot that.

A class guy, who I have no doubt was a tremendous influence on everyone, even in the toughest of times he faced.  RIP Andy....

Joni I am so very sorry for your loss. Holding you close in our hearts. May God surround you with peace and comfort.

Love Jennifer and Mark Austin

When Andy was planning on asking Joni to marry him, he was explaining how the size of the diamond doesn’t matter … it’s just a symbol..   He wasn’t about to spend a bunch of money on a diamond.

As it turned out… he bought a diamond bigger than anyone else in the group had.  When it came to Joni…. He was all talk.

I have missed the debates that Andy and Randy had about life.  But I know Randy was waiting with open arms as Andy was received into Heaven.   I am sure Randy said, “Want a beverage Puddly?”  I love you guys

Andy was one of the kindest persons I have ever met!  He was such an amazing person!  He will be greatly missed!
To Joni and Lauren and Drew: I am praying that your memories of wonderful times with Andy will be a blessing.  Your lives well lived are a testament to Andy’s guidance in his good years.  God bless- Dr Mary Whitaker
