Antonio's obituary
Antonio was born on January 3, 1956 to Berley and Delores Pruitt in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. After graduating from Gaithersburg High School and he went on to study Education at Mississippi Valley State University where he played college football.
After graduation, he landed his career as a high school teacher and then following as Technology Support Specialist.
Antonio spent his time with his charter fraternity, the brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha XI XI Lambda when he resided in Frederick, Maryland. After his retirement and subsequent move to Florida, he became a member of the Sun Chasers Motorcycle Club of Daytona, Florida. Antonio dearly loved his family & friends dearly. He also loved singing, playing his saxophone, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, his love for animals especially snakes and exotic fish and the NFL Raiders. Antonio lived life with no regrets and unapologetically and that’s what made him amazing.
Antonio was predeceased by his father the late Berley R. Pruitt and brother Frederick Pruitt. He is survived by his mother, Delores Pruitt of New Smyrna Beach, FL, twin sister and brother in law Lasandra and Larry Levy of Palm Coast, FL., children Jessica Pruitt of Hamden, CT and Wesley Pruitt of New Haven, CT . Sister-in-law Crystal Pruitt of Beallesville, MD, nieces and nephews Carlos Jolly and Christopher Jolly of Atlanta, GA., Lauren Pruitt of Charlotte, NC., Ebone’ Pruitt and Amber Pruitt of Beallsville, MD. He also is survived by great nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles along with many friends.
A virtual memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at 2 pm EST to be officiated by Pastor Jacqueline and Derrell Cockerham. Information will be given for the virtual memorial service soon.
