Antonio's obituary
Antonio “Tony” Manalili passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026 in Florida, surrounded by the love of his family.
Tony was born in the Philippines, where he grew up in a close-knit barrio community that would shape much of who he became. In that community, he was known as someone people could rely on—someone neighbors sought out regularly for help, guidance, and support. His presence was steady and dependable, and his willingness to help others left a lasting impression on those around him.
He later made his life in the United States, where he continued to live with the same quiet consistency. Professionally, Tony worked in healthcare and was especially known for his skill and precision—patients trusted him deeply, often remembering that he “never missed the vein.” His work reflected not just technical ability, but care, patience, and respect for others.
Tony was a devoted husband and a generous father. He is survived by his wife, Cecilia; his children, Ancel, Ariel, and Aleli; and his grandchildren.
He found joy in simple, meaningful things. He loved music—especially Filipino songs and jazz—and could often be heard humming along, knowing the melodies by heart. Whether at home listening to records or spending time in familiar places, Tony lived a life rooted in routine, connection, and quiet contentment.
Though his life was not defined by grand gestures, it was marked by consistency, humility, and service. In both the Philippines and the United States, Tony built relationships that mattered—often quietly, but always sincerely.
He will be remembered as a good husband, a devoted father, and a man who gave generously to both his family and his community.
A private cremation has been arranged. A Celebration of Life will be held with close family and friends in the immediate days following his passing. A memorial service will also be planned within a year of receiving his cremated remains.
