When my father Pablo suddenly passed away in his early 30's, my mother Helen knew we were in trouble. Financially and support wise was scary. Thanks to my Aunt Lucy and my Uncle Tony, we had a temporary place to live. My cousins Martha, Tony,Teresa, and Albert welcomed us into there home. They treated us good especially Tonito as we called him. Tonito always had a good thing to say to me as kids and always had good advice. He is missed very much but I am happy he is with plenty of family members in heaven. God bless you Tony and may you RIP. Your cousin Charlie.

I don't remember the exact year but we must have been barely high school age. I recall going on a fishing expedition with both Tony and our other cousin , Pablo. I had never gone fishing before and Tony was nice enough to loan me a fishing pole and instruct me on how to cast a hook out into the water. It was very cool and dark at the time we arrived and picked a spot on the shoreline. After trying to cast the line as he was showing me without success, he decided that I needed more weight for the hook. I helped myself to at least two, perhaps three weights and tied them to the line. I   whipped the rod  forward letting the overly weighted line fly. It was the best cast of the morning and also the last. The line snapped sending the hook and weights down into the dark water. It was no wonder that I was never again asked to go fishing. But it was an adventure with my two closest cousins.
While both of us were still in our early 20s, we would get together and play tennis. To my knowledge that was his favorite sport. Because he was a member of his high school tennis team, I could never best him in a match. Now in our 70s, he has beaten me again by being first to be with our Lord and all the angels in heaven. God grant that I will see him again in paradise.
During this difficult time I want to give my sincerest condolences. Loosing a loved one is an extremely difficult thing in life, and we are left with heartache and sorrow. May you and and your family find in comfort in knowing that our God Jehovah deeply cares for you and your family. He will soon reverse the effects of death by bringing a resurrection. John 5:28,29 says: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” May this promise that will soon be fulfilled give you strength.
