Antonio's obituary
Antonio was born in Atlanta on Tuesday, December 19th 2000 to the parents of Antonio and Sheri Bowden. Antonio was a senior at Henry W. Grady High School and looked forward to graduating this May with the Grady Knights class of 2020.
Antonio was a fighter from day one, being born 7 weeks early as a “preemie.” Despite this early on childhood condition, this never stopped Manny from being happy and full of life. In high school he participated in the band and when possible participated in many sporting events. He was loved by many of the staff members, teachers and students at Grady High School.
Antonio was not a picky eater but often at dinner would say, “I don’t eat meat” with a smile on his face. He would often compete with his brothers in pull-up and push-up contests and had no problem winning because of his muscular, slender, chiseled body. After receiving his iPhone, he loved to text and talk to his older sisters and other family members.
Manny regularly attended the Highland Congregation Kingdom Hall with his family and touched the lives and hearts of all that knew him there. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
Antonio is survived by his parents, Antonio Bowden (wife, Anita) and Sheri Lester (husband, Kenneth), three brothers, Miles Maddox, Brockington and Bryson Bowden, and two sisters Gabrielle Powell (husband, Quan) and Chloe Bowden. One aunt, Adrienne Bowden and cousins Destiny and Kayla Ayers. Grandfathers John Bowden and Larry Roberts (wife, Carlon), grandmother Elverra Harris (husband, Cleveland) and many other cousins and relatives. He is predeceased by his grandmother Carolyn Bowden and first cousin Jalen Ayers.
