We are here to honor our beautiful and funny mother, Antonia "Tonia" Valentin Lopez, age 85, of Parma, Ohio, who passed away on October 23, 2024, after she succumbed to natural causes.

Antonia was born on November 20, 1938, to Antonio Valentin and Juana Lopez in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. She is survived by her husband, Jorge Garcia Bonilla, 10 children, 28 grandchildren, and 12 plus great grandchildren, all of whom loved, cherished and will greatly miss her. Our hearts are broken. But now she has gone home to take her place with our Lord.

She worked hard all her life as a seamstress by trade, never complaining and making the best of every situation, good or bad. She was generous to a point where she left herself with nothing.

Her favorite pastimes were going dancing during her youth, and later in life playing wordsearch, searching for family photos on Facebook on numerous tablets, and watching Caso Cerrado on television.

Services were held at Yurch Funeral Home, 5618 Broadview Road, Parma Ohio, 44134, on Monday, October 28, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Dementia Society of America, at their website, www.dementiasociety.org.
