Anton Ferdinand, 92, a resident of Wheaton, IL passed away peacefully on March 4th, 2026 surrounded by family.

He was born in Yugoslavia on November 1, 1934 to Paul and Barbara Ferdinand. Through hard work and never giving up, he immigrated into the United States. He enlisted in the United States Army, spent many years owning and operating apartment buildings, and eventually created a family of his own. In 1960, he married Beverly and had three children of his own.

Anton will be remembered for his love of fishing, gardening, soccer, and spending time with family. He was always someone you could call to talk with. He brought a lot of joy to others and loved those around them.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly, brother Andreas, sister, and parents Paul and Barbara Ferdiand.

He is survived by his daughters, Linda (the late William) Marker and Barabra (Tom) Gallo, son Anton Ferdianad, 4 grandchildren (Bill, Beth, Bob, and Cathy), and 3 great grandchildren (Zeke, Lexi, and Skylar).

A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 8th, from 2:00-8:00 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 415 N Gary Avenue, Carol Stream IL 60188. The funeral service will be held on March 9th starting 10:00 AM at Brust Funeral Home. Interment will follow at MaryHill Catholic Cemetery in Niles, IL.
