Antoinette (Toni) Pinto, 74, of Knoxville TN (recent) and Lindenhurst IL, passed away on February 25, 2022. 

Toni was born on March 11, 1947 to Luigi and Elena Cortina in Ripi, Italy. She graduated from Siena High School (Chicago, IL) in 1965 and ultimately found a passion in helping others as a Registrar at St. Therese Hospital in Waukegan IL.

While in high school, Toni met her true love and married Terry Pinto on May 20th, 1967.  Terry and Toni had three children: Richard (52), Robert [Jami] (49), and Christine (44).  At the age of 16, Toni’s eldest son met his wife of 28 years, Melissa (51) who Toni loved as a daughter since Melissa was age 15.  Toni has eight grandchildren: Kaila (24), Briana (22), Lauren (21), Andrew (20), Brandon (20), Nicolas (12), Grey (12), and Fox (10).  She loved her family dearly and was a dedicated mother and wife.  Toni was selfless and put her family and friends before herself.  She was a counselor and confidante to those close to her. In her spare time, Toni loved reading, crafts, and spending precious time with her family. We will miss her greatly.

Toni was predeceased by her parents, Luigi & Elena Cortina, as well as her brother Nick Cortina and sister-in-law Joan Cortina. She is survived by her husband Terry, her children, and her grandchildren.
