How do I say good bye to a friend I've known since 1979.

I really don't know.

I really don't want to but God had  a special plan for her in heaven with no pain and suffering.

She did her work here on earth taking care of her family and  loved ones.

I will miss our daily phone calls covering her favorite topics. Her children Matt & Jen were always the first she talked about.  How she's so proud of them both. She enjoyed every holiday, birthday and get togethers at their house

Matthew was her world......(Her words exactly)

Her grandchildren, how dearly she held them to her heart. Her love for them was immeasurable.  She watched Josie grow babysitting for her and making special crafts and baking  while spending the day together. She especially loved holding and cuddling Ben because she said he reminded her of her son, the resemblance was so great. She loved talking and playing with him. It was pure joy in her heart.

Her husband Matthew loved her and she loved him.  He provided her with a beautiful life-style  for her and their son. They loved all the special times they shared together.

She cherished the calls from her nephews Anthony & Edward and news about their dad.  It made her happy.

Also her constant companion and precious little  dog Sadie and also great memories with many old friends.

Matt Johnnie and I have so many great memories with the family. We would enjoy birthdays parties, pool parties ather Dad and Mom's house.  Playing cards every week, having great meals at each other's houses, sharing her favorite recipes with me.  The beautiful wedding of Matthew & Jennifer.  We all came from different parts of the USA, then North, South, and East and  West, and picked up where we had left off  like we never skipped a beat. That's family and friends for you.

Toni and I prayed together alot on those last phones calls.

So how do I say good bye, I can't.

I simply keep her in my thought and prayers everyday. I know she's looking down watching all of us.

I miss you,

and we love you.

I love my Auntie and miss her deeply. I am so sorry Matt, Jen, Josie and Ben. She was a fierce mom, caring aunt and adoring grandmother. I wished she could have survived and thrived for another twenty years. She will be there in our hearts for future events, weddings, graduations, great days and rough ones. I can hear her still telling my about her eggplant recipe and cooking for the grandkids. My voicemail is constantly full because I have 15 recordings from her over the last few years that I never erased. More memories flood my mind but the happy ones are the hardest to hold right now. Rest in Peace Auntie. Love and condolences.

From Ed, Sarah, Eli, Eddie, Ean, and Elise.
