Tony was the first person I met in College and was my roommate after college for 2 years when he lived in the Newport Complex in Jersey City.  He was definitely a character and will be missed.

Where do I even begin? Tony was my college roommate and best friend for many years. Even though we lost contact over the years, this news brought me to my knees. I had to lay down and process the news. I couldn’t believe Tony is gone..

If it wasn’t for Tony I don’t think I could ever have survived college. He was instrumental in teaching me so many things and help me get adjusted to living on my own. He’s the one who taught me how to balance a checkbook, he’s the one who showed me how to do laundry at school, he’s the one who helped me grocery shop and live on a fixed budget and most importantly he’s the one who carried me home many nights and made sure I was back in my bed (or the floor or in the hallway) safely.

Tony made college living bearable. As a naive college kid , Tony opened my eyes to so many things, especially living in NYC, that I never would have been able to do on my own.

It sucks he is gone. We never had a chance to reconnect before he left us. I so badly wanted to give him one last big bear hug and say Thank You for all of the fond memories you gave me and the life experiences your shared with me.

I am forever grateful.

Rest In Peace, Tony.

My brother  Anthony lived his life as scripture states in Phillipians2:3 do nothing from conceit but in humility count others more significant than yourself. As Maya Angelo quoted:At the end of the day people won't always remember what you said or did but they will remember how you made them feel. Tony always made us and everyone feel loved and cherished and better than him. He gave of himself with a generous and kind pure heart of gold. Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.Tony loved ❤ even his neighbors  and treated everyone as a friend .He was our baby brother and best friend until we meet again in heaven where you are our family is broken until we are reunited in God's  kingdom.Fly high in the heavenly realms where your rewards will be great for loving like our Lord would of wanted and sharing that with us ❤ Forever you will be with us in our hearts and spiritually.Your love lives on in us who love you so much.

I am so sorry to hear this news.  Tony has been my neighbor for the last 15 years.  He was one of the kindest humans I ever met.  I will deeply miss my friend.
