Anthony John Wiands, 44, of Fultonham NY previously Clinton Corners, died Tuesday October 17, 2023 after a battle with cancer. He is the son of Leslie J. Wiands and Mary F. Howard (Whitaker). Along with his parents he is survived by his pride and joy, his son, Anthony John Wiands Jr., Sisters: Christine Ford (Bill Freer), Jessica White (David) and Stephanie Spann (Ed Hackett IV), Nephews: Thomas, Harrison, David Jr, William, Richard and Jacob. Nieces: Isabella, Madison and Riley. Numerus cousins and many friends. He is predeceased by grandparents Leslie and Mary Wiands, George and Frances Whitaker, Stepfather David Howard, Aunts: Frances Sarigianis and Barbara Stokes and sister, Carrie Ann Wiands.

Anthony was often seen fixing his vehicles, pulling transmissions, replacing engines etc. and he took pride that he could do so while being a double amputee. He enjoyed spending time at Hitchcock Cattle Corp. and made many good friends there. He loved taking his son, Anthony Jr. there to visit and see the cows.

A celebration of life will be held on 1-4 pm Saturday November 4, 2023 at Pleasant Valley Firehouse Station 2 - 30 Cottage St, Salt Point NY.
